Empty desert
vast,  expansive,
land and sky,
Matter and universe,
Seen and unseen,
Sound and soundless ring,
Becomes experience of existence,
And creation …

White rectangular tent,
Emerged on the horizon,
Disappeared in the air,
Raised again at many places,
In this empty desert …

Light beams,
Emanates from these places
Light beings,
Dancing in the clouds,
Brothers and sisters,
Siting around the fire,
The whole THOSENE, like
Manifestation Factory,
That is
the story of Lago Titicaca
in summer 2012

I did not know why it took me five months to ponder and finally write about the journey to Lake Titicaca, in summer 2012. This morning, March 13, 2012, waking up in the Majave desert, seeing clarity from fuzzy background, hearing outer sound becomes inner voice, sensing inner poetry from outer words … now I know I have been waiting for this moment to unveil my journey – the Journey of Manifestation, to the sacred lake Titicaca, connected souls and Pachamama, land of Bolivia.

Exactly five months ago when I felt the pull from the universe to connect the energetic shift of the cosmos and of the Mayan Prophecies about the change of era. I sensed 2012 is the year of dedicating my energy to and in align with the cosmic change. The energy has called me to start my transformation journey at Mayan highland at the beginning of 2012, continue traveling down to the energetic Ley-line to the Andes in  the summer, where the new world spiritual mega center will be emerged for the next 26,000 year based on Mayan prophecy, and wrap up my journey back to the origin of Mayan Calendar at Lake Atitlan, by the end of 2012. I invite you to come along this journey with me, considering it only happens once every 26,000 years.

Yes, this is the journey of manifestation. Spirit has spoken loud and clear. We will manifest our dreams, the wildest dreams we had since we were children. We will reveal the wisdom that is available to us in all dimensions and all worlds. We will recall the gifts that have granted to us that we have forgotten. We will dance like joyful clouds, move like invisible wind, create from unknown, and manifest all that infinite possibilities. We will sit around the fire, counsel with elders, communion with water, the lake, the Andes, and all spirits that are there to support our journey. We will use all means of our tools, asana, meditation, pranayama, meditation, wisdom inquiries, kriya, fasting, mana, selfless service, devotion, surrendering, journeying, healing, and many unlimited possible ways to expand our consciousness and to transform mortality to eternity.  We will do our work, shedding the layers and veils that have been conditioned so long beyond our ephemeral memories so we could ecstatically step into our epic soul journey to claim our soul contract and soul destiny and to dream the world into being.

In my world, there is no such a thing as “Advanced Yoga Teacher Training”, this is a Mystical Yoga Teacher Training.  Through our encounters of the mystical unknowns and mysteries we are guided to experience the truth, depth, and wisdom of our existence and meaning of our life and the journey in this physical dimension. This was where yoga came from and where we all will return once we are exhausted and finished in the physical dimension. While we are still in our physical realm it is such a privilege for us sentient beings to experience the wunder and creation of the unknown universe and cosmos. This is the intention of the course where we all are capable of diving deep into the ocean of myth and to demystify the unknown through our direct experiences and verification.

Together we will have precious opportunities to learn from the wisdom and gifts of many spiritually adept individuals in a small, intimate study environment including Angel, Ayamaya shaman of Sun Island, Gorge, very connected and innovative shaman of the Andes, Martin, Amazon Ayauaska shaman, and other spiritual teachers and healers when they are called to be present. There are possible others, like mystic Yogins, Ananda, hardcore Yogin, Suriya, Pachamama yogi, Ceci, will join us to share their mystical connection through yoga, spirituality, and ceremony. These individuals who we will work with are inspired to channel and share their profound connection with the creative energy of the universe. Over the past years, Vedantin has made his home at this magical place and is accepted to share this mystical location with all of you, along with all great spirits of the Lake, the Sacred Rock, the Sun Island, all great Apus … Although these teachers will be invaluable to us, the most important aspect of this journey will be connecting to the wisdom of your own inner guru who guide you, enlighten you, and the conscious within you, through deep self revelation and self inquiry.

In this moon circle, 30 days intensive course, we will learn how to deepen our personally spiritual and mystical practices and share our connection with yoga, healing, ceremony, and the energy of the universal through an experiential and spiritually enriched and mystically oriented curriculum, including but not limited to:

  • Provoking Cosmic Wisdom Seminars
  • Topic-Specific Yoga Workshops
  • Guided Sadhana Yoga Practices
  • Self Exploratory Mystical Yoga Practice
  • Art of Transformation through the Medicine Wheel
  • Experientially Mystical Practice – Journey Skills and OBE (out body experience)
  • Shamanic Healing Arts – Energetic Medicine
  • Personal Retreats – Ayuvasca and other plant medicine ceremony, Caocao ceremony, silence, fasting once we start flying like eagles there will no limits to see and hear and experience the myth and truth

In addition, the intensive nature of our 30 days (a moon circle) mystical yoga and shamanic healing medicine program will take us to many ceremonies – Healing circle of love n light, pretty much every day as a part of healing practice for ourselves, the public, and the environment. We will be dancing, singing, journeying, tuning, and chanting with fire and with our own creation to experience the healing for us and for others and the mother earth. Each of us will lead or partially lead the group through some forms of transfiguration like chakra dance, ‘bone dance,’ and other forms of dance, singing, and meditation so we all become blissed out and into the state of ecstasy. At that state we integrate shamanic healing medicine and transfigure ourselves into the landscape of divine and creation, where everything is possible, the healing, miracles, and manifestations. It is one of focus of this mystical yoga and shamanic healing art training at Lago Titicaca. We will learn, experience and lead ceremony and healing practice in transmutation, soul retrieval, power animal retrieval, extraction, cross-over assistance as a form of psychopomp and conscious dying, etc. In that short period of time we will have so much to experience, to learn, most importantly, to create our own dreams from the place and the state which has unlimited potential when we open and communicate with the wisdom of the universe.

This course will be divided to four circles, seven days for each circle, following the transformative Medicine Wheel. The ancient medicine system practice will guide us, literally, energetically, and spiritually, into personal transformation, transcendence, and transfiguration experiences. The last circle (the last 7 days), we will fly like eagles and we will let eagles guide us wherever we need to go, we may fly like eagle down to the Amazon Jungle to experience medicine there, La Paz, the high Andes energetic medicine, or Tihuanagu ruin, the ancient Ayamara temple.

  • The Wind of the South, the Serpent, leads us to shed our personal shadows, hook, stories that prevent us from moving forward.
  • The Wind of the West, the Jaguar, shows us how to transcend our cultural beliefs and ancestral bondages and transform darkness into light.
  • The Wind of the North, the Hummingbird, guides us on a journey of sweetness and joy, the epic soul journey where we claim our gifts from the past and the universe.
  • The Wind of the East, the Eagle, flies us above the mountains and clouds to teach us to see the world as it is so we can manifest the world into existence and co-create our journey and rewrite our contract in the physical dimension.

As you read above, it may inspire you to take on this journey with us, it may worry you, it may scare you, you may be somewhere between. So you make sure that this is what you are called to do, by your heart, spirit guide, guarding angel, and other formless voice. It is not the rational decision time, even though we need to sort out the logistic, but leave that alone first, ponder and discern the difference from the voice of heart or the voice of mind. Please talk to me if you want to hear my voice. I do encourage all of participants talk to me directly at least once via Skype before our journey. The spirits and I will let you know if you are ready for this journey. We may even ask you to leave during the course if it deems appropriate for you, your journey and the course. Remember this is the journey of soul, the journey of myth, the journey of the spiritual evolution.

This program sounds very intense but I would like to see myself and every participant to experience the course in a super relaxed way, “Latino layback style.”  My intention is to let the spirit guide each of our actions and tasks during the course. So do not expect the same schedule everyday and better do not even have any expectations for the course otherwise you will disappoint yourself just like everything in life. Each day we will have our own time to relax, dine, and explore our inner and outer longings. So do it from the voice of the heart that guides you and your actions.

Yoga Practice during the course

1) Sadhana Yoga is the primary grounding force of yoga teacher training.  We will use its form and formless to ground our body, mind, emotion, and spirit in this physical dimension. Sadhana Yoga is the yoga of spiritual practice. Even though it is derived from different yoga traditions, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Sivananda, Iyengar, Earth Medicine, and Ayuveda but it is designed beyond the forms and traditions. It focus on the essence of yoga tradition which is an instrument to reveal the truth of our existence, to experience the wonders of the universe consciousness, and to live as a spiritual being in the physical body.

Sadhana Yoga has three levels of practice. The first level of practice is the foundation and it has a routine of fundamental postures linked with transitional breath and sequences. The second level is the modification. Based the first level postures and the sequence, student starts to modifying the existing postures to more difficult or easier level. The third level is the integration. Students start integrating the learned routines with personal practice. So the personal practice and sadhana become meaningful pertinent to his or her understanding of the yoga. There is no longer the form of Yoga from SchoolYoga Institute but the expression of the true mystical connection to the wisdom of yoga and the cosmo. Yoga practice and sharing then becomes a spiritual practice.

In this mystical yoga teacher training program we will experience the foundation sequences of SchoolYoga Institute, Sadhana Vinyasa Flow and Sadhana Hatha Flow, rather quickly, due to the fact that most of you have studied and practiced these two sequences as a part of pre-requisite for the course.  We will use these two foundation sequences as instruments to lead our workshops into the Art of Teaching Yoga and Art of Touch and Alignment. After exploring the principles of teaching yoga we will start the ‘real work’ – creating Mystical Yoga experiences for ourselves and others, through Chakras, Elements of the universe, Earth Medicine, Archetypal Animal, Ayuveda, and Healing Arts.

2) Mystical Yoga – Shamanic Healing Yoga as an Example

Mystical Yoga is the yoga of form or formless that directly connect our practice, understanding, and the most importantly the myth the reveal in us. So we can bring the myth, the unknown, formless, structuredless of the cosmos into the duality of physical dimension where we experience the manifestation and authenticity of our gift and the gifts of the universe.

Mystical Yoga is when we start practicing yoga and create own authentic and creative yoga practice and forms from the deepest our core and the core of universal unknowns and cosmic wisdom. We as practitioners are the mystic and reveal direct connection and inner knowing. So the practice become formless, nameless, and essentially connects to the origin of creation and manifestation.

Shamanic healing practice and teaching when infused into yoga practice, simply for a sake of naming, called Shamanic Healing Yoga but it is formless and nameless. It is an integrative spiritual practice of two distinctive yet similar ancient traditions, Yoga and Shamanic Medicine. It brings the beauty and light of the ancient practices into modern life at experiential level for all to cherish. It uses the principles of Sadhana yoga as a foundation and vehicle to explore the teaching and healing practice of medicine Shamans in the high Andes and around the world. Yoga brings our awareness into the body and from the body we experience the serenity and tranquility beyond the body whereas Shamanic healing brings us the power and wisdom of the universe to heal the past, shadows, samskaras that keep haunting us and learn to dream the world into being.

This Shamanic Healing Yoga will guide us through a sequence of Sadhana Yoga practice. To begin the practice with the power of energetic healing, followed by a series of asana practice, and end with journeying into the underworld to retrieve our power animal and lost souls. A series of poses are designed to experience the medicine wheel in four directions. The wind of south, the serpent, leads us to shed our shadows and the past. The wind of west, the jaguar, shows us to transform the darkness and death into light. The wind of north, the hummingbird guides us to an epic journey of sweetness and joy. The wind of east, the eagle flies us above the mountains and clouds to teach us to see the world as it is. Through the practice we will experientially explore the healing power of yoga and ancient medicine of the Andes.

After experiential practice of Shamanic Healing Yoga each component will be dissected, discussed so the principles and intricate of ancient healing art can be understood, fully experienced, and learned. The participants will not only experience the healing for themselves through the practice but learn how to share its wisdom that can be integrated into our yoga teaching and daily living.
