We have graduated over 80 teachers from our 200-hour NH Yoga Teacher Training program and we are have been designing this 500-hour NH yoga teacher training program based off the feedback received in these trainings. We are following the popular weekend format, meeting once a month for two full days of yoga and community. We have divided the training into 3 modules to make it easier to commit to one module at a time.
This 500-hour training is for teachers who have completed any 200-hour yoga training. The training is 300 additional hours for a total of 500-hours. 300-hours is a lot, and we are breaking it up into 3 modules of 100-hours each. You can take one module without any commitment to taking the others, but you could also take all three in order to finish your 500-hour training in the shortest time.
This yoga teacher training course is theoretical and experiential based. Trainees are advised to live in the yogic lifestyle for entire training and beyond and to experience all paths of yoga such as Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bakti Yoga, and Juana Yoga leading to a complete embodiment of virtues, strength, balance, serenity, peace, joy, happiness, contentment, and wisdom.
Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance
Yoga Alliance is a global registering body for yoga schools and yoga teachers. This training exceeds the standards set out by Yoga Alliance and you will be able to register as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) after the training. SchoolYoga Institute has been offering Yoga Alliance registered teacher training courses since 2002.

All of our food is vegetarian and prepared with loving hands. A vegetable garden nourishes us as often as possible and the food is always fresh. We share two main meals per day, with a light snack at lunch time.
During the training we wake up while the sun rises and experience the beauty and serenity in the midst of this magical setting. Guided group meditation starts at 6:00am. Meditation is followed immediately by asana (yoga posture) practice. It includes pranayama, asana, and relaxation.
In the afternoon we have have lectures, discussions and activities that cover Yoga philosophy, Yoga theory, Yogic living, Yoga diet, Yoga anatomy, and Yogic healing. We end our day with after dinner Satsang (wise gathering) to contemplate and reflect on our sadhana (spiritual practice) of the day.
