Course description

This is the course designed for those who have stepped into the mythical path of yoga and healing arts and are called to go beyond as practitioner and eager to share the authentic wisdoms and insights with yoga and spiritual aspirants. This profound experience empowers and enables one to be master of mechanics in daily mundanes as well as in the realm of myth so training beginning yoga teacher and healing art practitioner becomes natural path of spiritual pursuit. After completing the course and gaining recommendation by the lead facilitator the apprentice facilitator is able to become assistant facilitator in any one of SYI’s global 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training Courses.

The facilitator training is not just a training for facilitators, but also a continuation on the spiritual path – a way for people do go deeper into their practice and reflection. It is as much a service to our student and graduates, as it is a training ground for upcoming facilitators. Everyone is welcome to join, assuming they commit to completing the course in one year and put in the energy needed to make it happen. Near the end of the course, there will be a review process and not everyone will be asked to facilitate with SYI, but everyone will have grown in many aspects.

Who

Those who have acquired RYT-500 through SchoolYoga Institute
Those who have acquired RYT-500 from another institute, but personal permission from Lead facilitator is required. So please contact vedantin@schoolyogainstitute.com

The Path to become and SYI Facilitator

Complete the SYI 200-hr Training (Optional for teacher with previous 200-hr Certification)
Complete the SYI 500-hr Training
Complete the SYI 800-hr Training
Components of the 800-hr training:
a – Complete a 5-day Facilitator Training
b – Shadow a 200-hour Training
c – Apprentice a 200-hour Training
d – No tuition costs for the 800-hour course (all three components above), but you must pay your travel, room & food costs and also commit to the entire course and complete it within 1 year. (Check the syi website for room & food prices for programs. Regular rates apply, even at the Mystical Yoga Farm.)
Review with Vedantin and become a facilitator.
Please note that completing the facilitator training course does not guarantee that you will become a facilitator.
