Spirituality is believing in my power, believing in myself. Spirituality is not linear. Spirituality is one word with infinite meaning ❤️
The blog soon turned into a vulnerable vlog. Our students opened up and shared the meaning of spirituality and how it inspires them to spread joy and grow from pain. I’m so proud of our students and I’m honored to have witnessed their expansion during our 200hr YTT.
The vulnerability and willingness expressed every single day throughout the training was deeply inspiring. Each of School Yoga Institute’s courses are so unique and they bring people together from all over the world. Witnessing connections blossom and people create lifelong friendships is pure magic and manifestation.
Here are the notes I wrote before I arrived at our Costa Rica location and experienced our transformational 200hr YTT energy:
Spirituality, to me, is faith — an undeniable knowing that my life is aligned just as it’s meant to be. Spirituality is believing in my power, believing in myself. What I’ve come to learn, in the words of our student Olivia, is, “spirituality is not linear.” It has no boundaries and so many meanings. Spirituality is community, love, and faith — one word with infinite meaning.
Spirituality has taught me that defaulting to gratitude is a choice, a way of life. I choose to believe, I choose to have faith, I choose the positive, even in the inevitable challenge of life. We all have a purpose in this life and beyond.
“Since things are always working out for me there must be value in this” – Abraham Hicks
