Ask yourself if you are being called towards a particular location or style of yoga. If you are, start by searching those areas first. Follow your gut and let your soul lead you to the right place. What Type Of Yoga Do You Want To Teach

When you’re searching for a yoga teacher training, make sure you know what style of yoga you are signing up for. From Hatha and Vinyasa to ashtanga-inspired yoga, there are many different types of offerings! Think about what style of yoga you want to benefit from and teach to others!

Yoga Alliance Certified and YACEP Courses

Some studios require that you have a yoga alliance certification, so depending on where you want to teach, this may be important for you to look out for! If so, make sure you choose a school that is a Registered Yoga School (RYS). A registered Yoga School has yoga courses including 200hr, 300hr yoga teacher training, and Continuing Education courses that are all Yoga Alliance certified! Yoga Alliance is a nonprofit association that regulates and monitors the educational world of yoga. It’s a good idea to find a school that is YA certified! This certification is recognized worldwide, so you can teach anywhere in the world!

Check The Reviews!

What better way to know if a yoga school is legit than by checking out their online reviews. Most yoga companies have an online presence with many different places you can check reviews including Google and Facebook! Checking reviews should help you book your YTT with confidence and have a better idea of what to expect!
