Oh, Bali, you are so beautiful! This one of a kind island in Indonesia is known for it’s lush tropics and vast beaches. Spending time in Bali feels like a never-ending soul adventure – there is an activity to suit just about everyone! Experience surfing, adorable cafes, yoga, trekking, delicious vegan food, workshops, and amazing concerts.

Come experience the MAGIC of Basundari Yoga Retreat Center in Ubud, Bali! Basundari translates to mean The Grace of Mother Earth and this retreat center truly highlights the beauty and magesty that Bali has to offer. Basundari has three swimming pools, beautiful grounds, and cozy rooms. The retreat center is located just 10 minutes outside of Ubud.
Ubud is one of Bali’s most popular destinations with an influx of diverse people, amazing restaurants, local shopping and market places, and an abundance of yoga, meditation, sound healing, and spiritual offerings. Spirituality is the inherent essence of Ubud. It is considered the cultural center of Bali. The activities are endless — we love taking walks through the rice fields, visiting sacred sites like the Saraswati temple and the Tegenungan waterfall, and braving the Monkey forest. If you are feeling more called towards the beaches of Bali, you will be in heaven at the Pondok Pitaya Retreat Center, located in Balian Beach. This retreat center is located on the edge of a natural volcanic black sand beach and beautiful cliff. Pondok Pitaya’s luxurious bungalows face the surf break, swimming pool, and are conveniently located just meters from the beach.
Balian Beach, on the South West coast of Bali, is home to spectacular sunsets and some of the island’s best surfing. This is the perfect place for you if you’re looking for an authentic, laidback Bali experience. It is a cozy beach village with restaurants, cafes, a lively night market, and beautiful surrounding jungles and waterfalls. The Pondok Pitaya retreat center is also just 45 minutes away from the Tabanan Mountain region where there is a deliciously invigorating coffee plantation hike with fresh brewed Balinese Coffee. Salty Breeze Retreat Center is a true slice of heaven. It is a brand new bungalow haven nestled on the southern cliffs of Bali, Indonesia. Intentionally positioned at the top of the cliffs of Uluwatu, Salty Breeze is just separate enough from the city, This secluded and peaceful location is the perfect place to drop into a spiritually driven Yoga Teacher Training course. The views will take your breath away and you can take a short hike down the cliff to 3 different beaches! Uluwatu is listed as the number one travel destination in the world according to TripAdvisor. There is a special, relaxing vibe in Uluwatu that aligns perfectly with the laid-back surfing culture. There are so many incredible things to do in this sacred location and you could really spend months down there living it up in paradise. One of our favorite activities is to explore the Uluwatu Balinese Hindu Temple — a magnificent temple built on the edge of a sea cliff. We also love watching the incredible surfers and sunsets. This is the location for you if you’re dreaming of the scent of the sun on your skin and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Join us in this little, healing slice of paradise!

Located on the Pacific Coast, touch down in the tropics of Costa Rica! We invite all lovers of the sun, surf, and sea to join us in the most “wave-rich” area of Costa Rica and the world! Indigo Yoga Retreat is steps away from the pacific ocean and offers both shared and private rooms. Tucked in the sacred valley of Peru, find yourself surrounded by ancient ruins and majestic mountains! Munay Sonqo is nestled in the Andes Mountains, neighboring an oasis of native plants and fruit trees. School Yoga Institute’s yoga teacher training curriculum is deeply inspired and integrated with Peruvian Shamanism so you will most definitely feel rooted and connected as you learn about these teachings from the very landscape they were created. Accommodations include private and shared rooms along with a tipi village located in the fruit orchard. That’s right, a tipi village! For those called to a deeper immersion into living close to the earth, the tipi style shared accommodation offers a unique and budget-friendly option.
Neighboring towns like Pisac are filled with local markets, vegan cafes, and an abundance of fruits and vegetables including hundreds of different species of potatoes and other local food! And of course, we can’t forget to mention you’re just a train ride away from one of the 7 wonders of the world, Machu Picchu. We recommend saving a few days for this excursion and tick it off your bucket list!
SCHOOL YOGA INSTITUTE’S OFF-THE-GRID PERMACULTURE LAKE ATITLAN, GUATEMALA
Nestled between three volcanoes, the Mystical Yoga Farm is located on the sacred shores of Lake Atitlán and is only accessible by boat! This Permaculture farm is rooted in sustainability and runs completely on solar power. Talk about a hippie haven! Enjoy your morning tea with herbs grown from the land, and fill your plate with local vegetables that will nourish your entire being. You’ll feel disconnected from the outside world as you dive deep into your soul and reconnect with yourself. Accommodations include cozy cabins, private rooms, and shared accommodations, all of which are unique in their own ways with creative architecture.
Just a short boat ride away from the farm lives the town of Panajachel. The streets are filled with vendors selling textiles, leather goods, and jewelry. You can take a cooking class, learn Spanish, or wander around the surrounding fields filled with an abundance of coffee and avocado trees. End your day with an unforgettable sunset boat ride or a tea at one of the many cafes overlooking the lake after your yoga teacher training.
