What’s your favorite yoga pose and why?
I would say lately it is, Adomukasvanasana, Downward facing dog. Classicaly called Mountain pose. This gesture when mindfully practiced from the foundation, the alignment and activating the breath to fill the posture, gives me a feeling of such stability, extention and peace. I often visualize my self as a powerful mountain, and in this way this wonderful asana becomes me, or maybe I become the mountain!
What is your favorite quote?
“Every journey is a pilgramage.
Every sojourn offers the chance to connect with a Sacred secret; that we are all precious pieces of a vast and interconnected puzzle, and that every step we take, every connection we make helps complete that puzzle – and ourselves.” — Don George
What inspires you in your practice?
Three words Sacred, Gratitude and Humble. This journey of life is Yoga. My birth place being India, I innatley feel the sacredness of this practice. Thousands of years for humankind to ask the question, Who am I? We still are asking this same thing. When I step on or off my mat I am filled with Gratitude and humbleness to be able to practice and share this immense wisdom. A practice of a beginners mind.
