The Mystical Yoga Farm is located on Lake Atitlan, near Santiago. The Mystical Yoga Farm is a unique place that offers a special opportunity to live on the land and with nature, as you take rest from your everyday life and immerse yourself in the practice of yoga.
The Yoga Farm is a secluded, private property only accessible by boat. It sits at the base of a volcano and is surrounded by magical forests and healing waters. An Eco-Rustico Retreat Center that is off the grid, the farm utilizes filtered water, composting toilets, solar hot water and solar electricity. All food is vegan and prepared with loving hands. The humble vegetable garden nourishes us as often as possible while the rest of the food comes from the local farmers of neighboring villages.
Share meals in the Rancho and practice in a newly-built Yoga Shala with breathtaking views of the Lake with volcanoes across the water. Meditation occurs on the dock while the sun rises over the volcano. MYF is a peaceful oasis like nothing experienced before; perfect for the inward journey you seek to embark on. This is a self-directed Spiritual Community that is focused on self-sustainability, growing fresh organic food, growing healthy yogis, teachers and healing practitioners. Our desire is to heal the earth and its inhabitants through connection with nature and Spirit, the source of all of creation.
As well as being a beautiful location for contemplation during your teacher training, the farm shares its beauty in many ways during your free time: from gardening and fruit picking, to swimming in the cool waters of the lake and decompressing in our traditional wood-fired temascal, from stirring the compost to volcano hikes and local village trips. You are invited to step into the quiet stillness of mother nature, allowing her to nourish you and guide you back to the home in your heart.
