Join us for a 8-day, 7-night Mindfulness and Meditation Retreat in the Sacred Valley of Peru at Munay Sonqo! This 50hr course includes a sweat lodge ceremony and an excursion to a sacred site! Our 50hr Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Training in the sacred valley of Peru is designed for those who are interested in concentrating deeper on the meditative aspect of yoga. This course invites participants to deepen understanding of the true Self through the practices of concentration, meditation and mindfulness practices.
Throughout this experiential offering, you will observe your sitting posture, your breathing and the tendencies of the mind. Participants will explore and connect to their inner world through various exercises, breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, mantra. Participants will have the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals interested in meditation and mindfulness and share experiences with each other at Munay Sonqo, a retreat center that provides an epic setting to all who are aspiring to spiritual transformation, personal development, and connection to the natural world. Nestled in an oasis of native plants and fruit trees and held by the power of the surrounding mountains, Munay Sonqo offers a place to connect to the incredible depth and beauty that nature offers, providing a profoundly nurturing and unforgettable experience.
This 50hr Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Training includes a sweat lodge ceremony and an excursion to a sacred site in Pisac to meditate together as a group. The Sweat Lodge, representing the womb of Mother Earth, is a sacred place to ask for healing, forgiveness, hope, vision, to give thanks, or anything else participants need during their journey of change.
This course is suitable for the beginner, intermediate or advanced practitioner and is designed for those who are interested in beginning a daily meditation practice or deepening their current practice. All are invited to take part in the gifts Yoga has to offer. You will walk away from this training with a new-found sense of self-awareness and will be able to pass on that knowledge to other people, by teaching your own Meditation classes and Mindfulness techniques. Participants will be required to do 3 meditations.

All her life, Concetta Codding has been drawn towards something greater than herself. Searching for a greater purpose in the Universe and drawing upon its energy, Concetta studied in Connecticut and received her 200-Hour Yoga Alliance certification in 2017. She went to Peru in July 2018 for her 300 hour Shamanic Yoga Teacher training with School Yoga Institute. She is currently a certified 500 hour Yoga Teacher.
