This 8-day, 7-night Yoga and Meditation Retreat in the sacred valley of Peru is designed for those who are interested in deepening their understanding of the true Self through the practices of Yoga, Meditation, Sweat lodge and more. Participants will explore and connect to their inner world through various exercises, breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, mantra.

 

Participants will have the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals interested in yoga, meditation and mindfulness and share experiences with each other at Munay Sonqo, a retreat center that provides an epic setting to all who are aspiring to spiritual transformation, personal development, and connection to the natural world. Nestled in an oasis of native plants and fruit trees and held by the power of the surrounding mountains, Munay Sonqo offers a place to connect to the incredible depth and beauty that nature offers, providing a profoundly nurturing and unforgettable experience.

 

This Mindfulness and Meditation retreat includes daily Yoga and Meditation in the morning, 3 meals a day, as well as a sweat lodge ceremony and an excursion to a sacred site in Pisac to meditate together as a group. The Sweat Lodge, representing the womb of Mother Earth, is a sacred place to ask for healing, forgiveness, hope, vision, to give thanks, or anything else participants need during their journey of change. Students have the option to add on other excursions or trips during free time.

 

This retreat is suitable for the beginner, intermediate or advanced practitioner. All are invited to take part in the gifts Yoga has to offer. This retreat is designed for those who are interested in beginning a daily yoga and meditation practice or deepening their current practice. You will walk away from this retreat with a new-found sense of self-awareness and will be able to pass on that knowledge to other people.

Covid Safety Procedures

Most countries have different COVID regulations aroundmasks, social distancing, etc. We are not in control of how retreat centers run their business or the laws of the countries. We take protocols to ensure to the
best of our ability a safe environment, but ultimately we will abide by the local regulations around COVID.

  • You will need a certified negative PCR, Antigen, or rapid coronavirus test within 72 hours of course start date
  • Monitoring use of props, each student assigned their own designated mat, bolster, blocks, strap.
  • In the event of illness, we will ask the ill person to stay in their room and acquire a Covid test, if the symptoms are that of Covid.
  • We ask that you bring your own water bottle, to be used the duration of the course During days off we request that you stay on site, however, if you do go offsite, you will be required to wear masks and social distance.
