Welcome to Maroc Surf Camp, a laid-back surf camp located in Tamraught, 19km from Agadir Airport.
Maroc Surf Camp is one of the original surf houses in the Taghazout bay area which are all decorated in the local traditional “Beldi” style. The villa offers a wide variety of sleeping accommodations. Bathrooms are shared by a maximum of two rooms.
Their large ocean-view terrace is where all of the meals and good times are shared by everyone. This space is a prime location for diving into a good book, watching the dramatic African sunsets, or chilling after dinner and sharing life stories with people from other cultural backgrounds.
On the rooftop is a fully-equipped yoga shala where all of our classes will be held.

We will provide a shuttle service from Agadir Airport on the first day of training.
Maroc Surf Camp villa is located in the charming Berber village of Tamraght which is about 22 km away from the main city of Agadir. The closest airport is Agadir but you can also catch a flight to Marrakech and then get a ride to Agadir by taxi (around 120€ for 4 passengers) or by bus (14€ per traveler).
Many low-cost airlines such as Ryan Air, Transavia, TUI, and the national company Royal Air Maroc fly daily to Agadir from several European airports. All you need is a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity left).

Please let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions. All meals are healthy and prepared by our lovely cook who knows how to make your taste buds smile. 3 Daily vegetarian, healthy meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
Purified water is available.
The currency in Morocco is Moroccan Dirham.
There is no ATM in Tamraught. We recommend exchanging cash into Dirham before you arrive, otherwise, the nearest ATM in the village of Aourir. If you plan on doing activities, bring extra cash!

Upon arrival, we will get you settled into your room and give you a short orientation. Feel free to check-in after 12pm or to drop your bags off early and explore until your room is ready! The Manual is included in the price of tuition and we will have it for you at the start of the course.
Optionally, a neti pot and a tongue scraper are suggested to be used throughout the course, you can purchase these on your own at any health food store. Please also bring any creative tools that enable you to express your gifts such as musical instruments, painting/drawing materials, etc.
Depending on the time of the year, weather can change. Please pack accordingly for experiencing a wide range of temperature!

Every 5th day is an off day. Make sure to bring extra cash!
Laundry is available on-site.
The Internet is available onsite but we suggest disconnecting from the internet as much as possible, phones will only be allowed for photos during meal times etc.
We will make arrangements to make up any missed days during the program. Typically, it is not a problem and you can get everything completed during the course.
We recommend you consult with your doctor prior to your trip to get any questions answered.
You will need a valid passport for entry (with at least 6 months validity left).
At the end of the course, you will receive your 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification. This course is approved by Yoga Alliance. As a graduate of this program you will qualify to register as a teacher with the Yoga Alliance organization if you choose to.
