Join us for a 5-day, 4-night retreat at Indigo Resort! This 50hr Meditation and Mindfulness Course in blissful Costa Rica is designed for those who are interested in concentrating deeper on the meditative aspect of yoga. This course will cross the threshold into 2022 as participants deepen understanding of the true Self through the practices of concentration, meditation and mindfulness practices.

 

Throughout this experiential offering, you will observe your sitting posture, your breathing and the tendencies of the mind. Participants will explore and connect to their inner world through various exercises, breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, mantra. Participants will have the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals interested in meditation and mindfulness and share experiences with each other at this sacred location steps away from the Pacific Ocean. With astounding natural beauty, warm water temperatures, and incredible wildlife, this course in Costa Rica is a unique opportunity for those called to both the ancient sacred practices of yoga and the art of surfing.

 

This course is suitable for the beginner, intermediate or advanced practitioner. All are invited to take part in the gifts Yoga has to offer. This course is designed for those who are interested in beginning a daily meditation practice or deepening their current practice. You will walk away from this training with a new found sense of self-awareness and will be able to pass on that knowledge to other people, by teaching your own Meditation classes and Mindfulness techniques.

6:00-8:00 AM: Meditation/Asana/Pranayama

8:00-9:00 AM: Text Study and Discussion

9:00-10:00 AM: Breakfast and Self-Sadhana

10:00 AM-12:00 PM: Meditation/Mindfulness Lesson of the Day + Practices

12:00-2:00 PM: Lunch and Self-Sadhana

2:00-5:00 PM: Lessons, Techniques, and Practice

5:00-6:00 PM: Dinner and Self-Sadhana

All her life, Concetta Codding has been drawn towards something greater than herself. Searching for a greater purpose in the Universe and drawing upon its energy, Concetta studied in Connecticut and received her 200-Hour Yoga Alliance certification in 2017. She went to Peru in July 2018 for her 300 hour Shamanic Yoga Teacher training with School Yoga Institute. She is currently a certified 500 hour Yoga Teacher.
