Katie is an educator, facilitator, and Yoga instructor with a passion for transformational growth and healing. I value space for connection and understanding. I view yoga as a path toward empowerment and feel called to guide others towards their own reclamation of their inherent worth and capacity.
Yoga changed my life. Yoga is an all-encompassing approach to life, one which gifts me to myself. Yoga is a path to that space within which is home. This is a gift which I wish to shout from the rooftops! I aim to facilitate space in which practitioners can take root, begin the process of unwinding old stories, take back their power, and navigate home. The gift is not mine to give, rather, it is the fruit of the practice. I look forward to practicing alongside you.
What’s your favorite yoga pose?
Tadasana! All the asanas begin from this foundational posture. Learning how to simply stand in alignment and integrity is deeply impactful!
What’s your favorite quote?
“It is worse to stay where one does not belong at all than to wander about lost for a while and looking for the psychic and soulful kinship one requires.” ~ Clarissa Pinkola Estés
