Sinje | Bali 200hr YTT Testimonial
There are some experiences in life that defy description — they leave such an imprint on your soul that words can only begin to capture their depth. My 200-hour Mystical Yoga Teacher Training in Bali was one of those rare journeys. It wasn’t just a training. It was a full soul initiation — a remembering, a returning, and a reawakening.
What made it so powerful wasn’t just the breathtaking beauty of Bali or the intense and immersive schedule that introduced us into true yogic practitioners — though both were profound. The real magic was in the way every part of the experience was held with such devotion, love, and intentionality. The facilitators, the community, the space, theceremonies, and thesacred teachings of the Peruvian Medicine Wheel all came together to transfrom my life of yoga and life.
At the heart of this experience were the facilitators — true guardians of the path. They didn’t just teach us yoga; they walked it, breathed it, lived it. From sunrise meditations to late-night wisdom circles, they were fully present – holding space with patience, compassion, and fierce love. They guided us with clarity through challenging moments, celebrated our breakthroughs, and poured their energy into every word, every breath, every touch, every ceremony.
Each facilitator brought something unique: a deep understanding of ancient wisdom, grounded practical knowledge, and a radiant love for sharing. You could feel how much heart they put into each session and day – not out of duty, but from a deep calling to be in service. Their commitment to our growth was unwavering. Without a doubt, they were the element that transformed our experience from a course into a sacred experience.
One of the most powerful frameworks we journeyed through was the Peruvian Medicine Wheel, a sacred spiral of transformation that mirrored our inner unfolding. Each direction brought with it a new archetype, a new way of seeing and being.
This sacred wheel wasn’t just philosophy – we lived it. Every practice, every challenge, every breakthrough was part of this greater journey. It gave us a map to return to, again and again, even long after the training ended.
Some of the most unforgettable moments came through the ceremonial spaces that were woven throughout the training. Each ceremony brought us closer to ourselves, to each other, and to the divine.
One of the most unexpected yet powerful discoveries for me was the power of chanting. We sang mantras daily – at first shyly, then with growing confidence and finally with full-bodied devotion. These ancient sounds became a vibration that united us. There was something incredibly moving about singing together, voices blending in sacred syllables, hearts aligned in prayer.
It didn’t matter whether you considered yourself a singer or not – the mantras became our way of expressing, releasing, connecting. I felt parts of myself awaken through sound – parts that had been forgotten. The practice of mantra became a key that opened the door to a deeper spiritual dimension and a beatiful way to connect.
Our community of students was one of the greatest gifts of the entire experience. We arrived as strangers, but very quickly became mirrors, teachers, and soul family. Together, we laughed, cried, danced, struggled, and soared. There was no pretense – just presence.

The depth of connection we found was beyond words. Each person brought their unique medicine, their stories and their strength. We supported each other in ways I never expected. It reminded me how healing it is to be seen and held in authenticity. I left with friendships that I know will last a lifetime.
And then, of course there was the sacred space itself – a stunning sanctuary nestled in Bali’s spiritual heart. The energy of the land, the sounds of the jungle, the sacred altars, the design of the shala – everything supported our journey inward. It was the kind of place that holds you even when you don’t know you need holding.
The hotel staff played a huge role in this. They welcomed us not as guests but as family. Always smiling, always respectful, always supportive – their presence added a softness to our days. They were quiet energies of our transformation, making sure the environment stayed clean, calm and nurturing.
And the food – oh, the food. Every meal was an offering of love and vitality. Fresh, vibrant and delicious, it nourished us on every level. It felt aligned with our practice.
This training gave me so much more than a certificate – it gave me a new way of living, of relating, of seeing the world. It was a remembering of the true within me. Through the Medicine Wheel, the ceremonies, the chanting, the teachings and the deep love of everyone involved, I was cracked open and remade.
To the facilitators – thank you for walking with such integrity and devotion.
To my fellow students – thank you for your vulnerability, courage, and love.
To the hotel and staff – thank you for creating such a sacred, safe space.
To Bali – thank you for holding me with your spirit, your beauty and your ancient wisdom.
If you are hearing the call, trust it. This is not just a training. It’s a soul initiation. One you will never forget :))
