I’ve now completed both my 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings with SYI, and I truly can’t recommend them enough. We explored how to align the energies within the body (the chakras, vayus, and elements) with the theme and intention of a class, allowing the practice to become a journey rather than just a workout.
The facilitators were incredible — knowledgeable, grounded, and genuinely devoted to holding space for everyone’s growth. They embodied the teachings in such an authentic way and encouraged each of us to step into our own unique voice as teachers and leaders. The content was rich and diverse.
But what truly sets SYI apart is the community it creates. The people I met during this training became like family — individuals from all over the world, coming together to share stories, heal, laugh, cry, and grow. There’s something magical about being surrounded by like-minded souls who are also walking the path of self-discovery and service. The memories and connections I made in Peru will stay with me for the rest of my life.
