FINDING PEACE AND EASE

Work Through Long-Term Anxiety with Yoga Therapy

WORK THROUGH LONG-TERM ANXIETY WITH YOGA THERAPY

A Yoga Therapy approach recognizes that yoga is not merely a physical practice, but one devoted to holistic wellbeing. The heart of yoga therapy is a commitment to a daily practice rooted in a one-on-one relationship with a Yoga Therapist.

In this way, Yoga Therapy relies on the ability of deeply experienced teachers to offer yogic practices that precisely address a variety of suffering, whether physical, emotional, behavioral, or mental, in support of ongoing transformation toward clarity and ease. Over time, the care-seeker is empowered to develop a personalized practice that can be preventive or curative and is capable of evolving to changing circumstances.

Long-term anxiety can be difficult to manage in that it is sometimes mistaken for depression or lack of motivation. While these might be symptoms, long-term anxiety is most often rooted in exhaustion. Exhaustion from worry, rumination, or the desire to (not very effectively) ignore it! It is best soothed and alleviated with consistency, compassion and an attentiveness to an empowered sense of wholeness.

Join us as we harness the tools and techniques of Yoga Therapy to feel more balanced, peaceful and spacious.
