Cancellation and Change Policies

Cancellation Policy

  • Refunds: We no longer offer refunds if you submit a cancellation in any format (email, text, etc) less than 150 days before the start date.
  • Sold-Out Training: Once a training is sold out, it is non-refundable. If this occurs, you will be notified via email.
  • Program Cancellation: School Yoga Institute reserves the right to cancel any program at any time. In the event that a natural disaster or other unforeseen event causes a program to be moved or altered, School Yoga Institute will make every effort to provide an appropriate substitution. Please note: No refunds will be given if you choose not to attend or leave the course early, or in the event of a natural disaster.
  • Processing Fees: Refunds do not include any processing fees charged by your credit card provider.
  • Travel Insurance: Please have travel insurance to accommodate for any unforeseen travel interruptions that could affect your attendance. 
  • Online 200-hour Courses: Once you sign up, online courses are non-refundable. This is due to the nature of online/downloadable courses. 

Standard Change Policy

Sometimes, life can throw unexpected curveballs! We completely understand that things happen or come up. Your course deposit is nonrefundable but transferable to another program for up to 24 months from the transfer time.

  • Deposit Transfers: Your $300 course deposit is nonrefundable but can be transferred to another program within 24 months.
  • Transfer Fees:
  • More than 90 days before start date: $250
  • 60 – 90 days before start date: $350
  • 30 – 60 days before start date: $450
  • Less than 30 days before start date: $550

Rooming

School Yoga Institute will initially reserve the room you request. Once the course begins, any changes to your rooming preference must be made directly with the resort. Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The original room you requested will remain available; however, if you wish to change your room after the course begins, there is no guarantee that alternative room options will be available. Any changes or refunds related to rooming must be addressed directly with the resort.

Payments & Payment Plan

  • Custom Payment Plans: We offer monthly payment plans that end when your course starts. 
  • Payment in Full: If your payment plan extends past the course start date, you must complete payment by the agreed date.
  • Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit cards, apple pay, google pay, express pay, paypal, and bank transfers. Use a bank transfer to get an additional $50 discount. For US and Canadian bank transfers, use the “bank account” option on the Moonclerk Payment link. For international transfers, contact us for details.
  • Late Payments: If payments are not made, your balance will eventually be sent to a debt collection agency.

Scholarship Exchanges

  • Scholarships Available: We offer scholarship exchanges to make our courses more accessible. Learn more about scholarships here.
  • No Discount Combinations: Scholarships cannot be combined with other discounts.

Referral Program

  • Earn $250 per Referral: Refer a friend who enrolls and pays in full for a YTT program, and you’ll receive $250 for each successful referral. There’s no limit to how many referrals you can make.

  • Your Privacy: We value your privacy and will never share personal information from our contact forms or social media.
